POTENTIAL
So much potential
Lies coiled up inside you
Ready to be released
By a word of encouragement.
 
Only you
Can let loose your lifespring
As you feel the safety
Of standing on the solid ground.
At last succeeding.

This poem was written about a little boy of 8 years old who was badly misbehaving in the classroom at my school but had had to battle against  very difficult family problems.
