The Fragrance of Your Love
Disciples gathered in a crowded room Their Master dead, they were expecting doom. Jesus stood among them, said, "Fear not I'm here ! I'm risen now. Death, you need not fear." But the fragrance of His love lives on - Thru' God's own Son. From broken vessels come such power and praise. You showed us how to look to Him who saves. One life so full of love, but touching all - Listening faithfully, to the Master's call. But the fragrance of your love lives on - Alison. Tho' grass may wither and some seed may die, Fresh shoots of love spring with the tears we've cried. Full bloom the flowering of each life staked true, You planted far more, than we ever knew. For the frangrance of your love lives on - Alison. For your courage, and for your care, Precious moments, that we all did share - When we were hurting, you were always there ...You were always there. And the fragrance of your love lives on - Alison. As one body now we all must stand, To praise the Father for all he's planned. Tho' there are mysteries we can't understand - You showed us how to trust, and to hold our Father's hand. Still the fragrance of your love lives on - Alison. Still the fragrance of your love lives on - Alison. ©Don Stott Eliab.com |
