TOO TEMPTING
Don (D); Bentley – Dog Puppet (B) or Vent doll
This script was used in a junior school Chapel service

D.         Hi Bentley. Great to see you. High Five!
B.         ipad!  Great to see you too and the children.  I’ve been busy, I’m on a secret mission. I’ve been using my NTD to search. Are there any bones here in the Chapel? Present company excepted.
D.         I’m sure there are no bones buried here. But what’s an NTD?
B.         Can I tell you? I guess I can trust you. NTD stand for a Nasal Tracking Device. My super sensitive nose is searching for the ‘Valley of the Bones’. The long lost bones from the now extinct Boneasauras.
D.         And what will you do if you find these bones?
B.         Takeaway. Boneburgers.
D.         But you can’t eat them. They might be needed for scientific research. I’m sure they must be protected. You can’t just dig up bones and leave holes all over the place. What if scientists want to study the Boneasauras?
B.         Remember it’s a ‘bottom secret’..Not that bottom! The opposite of top secret. This is underground stuff. No-one is supposed to get wind of the secret. Well that’s what I’ll be doing. I’ll be researching the Bone….. I just ‘lerv’ the taste of old bones. On my last expedition my friend Digger dug up the world famous painting the Bonealisa. He was so tempted to eat it and wipe the smile of her boney face.
D.         What happened?
B.         I stopped him just before the main course. The entrée took off one crunchy corner. But he let me bury the rest in the backyard tunnel till Easter… then we’ll have hot cross bones…
D.         Oh Bentley!
B.         Well I’ve got to keep going. I’m picking up a scent.
D.         Well it’s not aftershave.
B.         No I think The Valley of the Bones must be close by. My NTD is going off!
D.         And so are you… Bye, bye, Bentley.
B.         Bone-a-vista!
