Here's a few Bible verses for young children I set to well known tunes. I came up with these as part of a Forty Days Of Purpose children's program.
Mark 12:30 ( Tune: Row, row, row your boat) Love, love, love the Lord, Love the Lord your God- With all your heart With all your soul With all your mind and strength. Ephesians 2:10 ( Tune: If you're happy and you know it) We are God's workmanship Created in Jesus Christ to do good works which God has prepared in advance for us to do. Romans 12.5 ( There's a hole in the bucket) So, in Christ we who are many - form one body and each member in Christ everybody belongs to the rest. Act 1 A story of Creation
Act 2 The Fall - Creation spoiled Act 3 Israel- God shapes a people Act 4 The story of Jesus - God sends his Son Act 5 The story of the Early Church- Good News for all (> US) Act 6 The story of the End Times - Creation completely restored I found a wonderful series of pictures which tell the story of Jesus' death and resurrection. They are free to download and use.
