Here's a few Bible verses for young children I set to well known tunes. I came up with these as part of a Forty Days Of Purpose children's program.
Mark 12:30 ( Tune: Row, row, row your boat) Love, love, love the Lord, Love the Lord your God- With all your heart With all your soul With all your mind and strength. Ephesians 2:10 ( Tune: If you're happy and you know it) We are God's workmanship Created in Jesus Christ to do good works which God has prepared in advance for us to do. Romans 12.5 ( There's a hole in the bucket) So, in Christ we who are many - form one body and each member in Christ everybody belongs to the rest. (Invite children to join in the counting parts of the rhyme) 1, 2 ... two small fish. (Not much of a dish) PLUS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... five loaves of bread. "That's all I have!" The small boy said.
